1 - Construction works on the Building
1 - Construction works on the Building
They consist of the demolition of some partition walls, generally restoring the spatial structure of the house, and the necessary conservation works (roof, interior and exterior painting, restoration of water, heating and eletrical installations). The only exterior intervention refers to the expansion of an existing span (room 2), maintainng, however the size of the lintel. The wet areas - bath and kitchen - are maintained, with the exception of the removal of the bathroom and laundry on the 1st floor. The installation of a small cafeteria is planned, by adapting the existing kitchen.
2 - Construction works in the Annexes
They consist of the conservation and consolidation of the ground floor and attic of the old garage and the construction of an extension, of approximately 77 m2, stretching the volume of the stucture to the north.
a) The existing area is for the drawing classroom (2nd floor) and drawing classroom, vestibule, copy room and small dressing room, on he 1st floor. The bathroom and existing partition walls are recovered. The conservation works include the thermal insulation of the walls and roof, with agglomerated black cork, and the execution of new interior and exterior frames and woodern floors.
b) The area to be built includes the atrium and stairs to
the 2nd floor and also a double height classroom with an
attached storage room. This extension is built with stone
(load-bearing walls) and reinforced concrete (stairs and
roof slabs) and the insulation and cladding materials are
the same as in the restored area (...).
